Diversity no more

At a meeting last night it was confirmed that the YMCA are pulling the plug on Diversity FM. We have one more month and then it's all over. Much as we'd all love the station to keep going, it comes down to funding or lack of it. So unless someone comes up with a serious quantity of cash in the next few weeks we'll be going out with a bang on March the 31st.

Thanks for tuning in and supporting Diversity FM. It's not quite over but the fat lady is warming up and it'll take a miracle to stop her.

In the meantime, Wes and I will carry on. All being well we should have another 6 editions of Off The Beaten Tracks to do.

Next Tuesday's show has a theme of rock bands in acoustic mode with my choices including Led Zep and Pete Townshend and we've a Husker Du track from Reza.
